Sarah Thoughts: Epic. The classic fantasy series. I absolutely loved Lord of the Rings, but this series goes beyond. Robert Jordan took a lot of heat for being too descriptive, but I feel like I can picture every town, inn, horse and fight as the story unfolds. Excellent world building and while there are a lot of names, it’s WAY less difficut to figure out than Game of Thrones.
